It’s not quite a year since the new Range Rover Sport arrived courtesy of James Bond in New York, and a lot less than that since it started appearing on the road. But if you’ve been saving hard to get yourself in the entry-level Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE – Land Rover’s £51,550 entry-level Sport – you need to think again. It’s been dropped.
The new Jaguar XF Sportbrake is heading in to Jaguar showrooms next month, but Scottish Jaguar dealers Taggarts are ahead of the game. In fact, the first XF Sportbrakes are due to turn up in dealer showrooms next month, but Taggarts Jaguar has jumped the pack a bit with a couple of special reveals of the XF Sportbrake for its customers – and prospective customers – ahead of that mid-November date. Supercar maker Spyker could be set to join McLaren and Ferrari on the F1 grid in 2007. Talks are underway between Spyker's CEO Victor Muller and the Midland F1 team. The outfit, owned by Russian-born Canadian steel magnate Alex Shnaider, is struggling, having put zero points on the board this season.
